The Oriental Pearl.
A few months ago, I found this Oriental stamp set on a book at a News Agency, and I love it. I decorated the background using my stamps. When doing your back Ground and Using Fine Black Ink, make sure you give it time to dry, before distressing as it is easy to smudge. I got some small Pearls from the Craft Shop to use on her hair, and this creates a soft effect.
I brought a small button to add just a little bit of colour.
I first cut out a peace of 12 x 5.8 inch's card stock and creased with my boneing knife, I then cut a peace of Aqua card to fit on the front, and another peace in blue, you can work out the sizes your self as you need to have a little colour showing around the edge of your card, to create depth.
I used a set of nesting dies and used the large die to cut my image out, I then distressed the edges with Pacific Point Blue Ink, this Ink is from Stampin Up. I decorated the Fan behind her with Pearls this stamp came from Kazzaz. I got the pearls from Ship Loads. Just have fun and enjoy.
