Your Flying High

For this card I cut a piece of red plain card stock 12 inches by 7 3/4 inches, Fold in half to make your card.  I then used a stripey piece of card stock, 6 1/2 inch's by 5.8 inch's.  The red Polka dot decorative card stock is 5.8 inch's by 6 1/4 inch's,  I also used a piece off star blue paper  4 3/4 by 6 1/4  LAYER UP YOUR CARD WITH THE COLOURS LIKE ON MY CARD.   Stick with double sided tape.   I cut three different coloured borders with my Creative Memories border maker cartridge,  in white, red and stars, I trimmed the edge off my star paper with my postage stamp edge cutter.   I coloured my image with Prismacolor Pencils,   I used for Skin, Burnt Ochre, Peach, Light peach, egg shell and white

Balloons,
I used Canary Yellow, Deco Yellow, Golden Rod, Yellow Ochre and White
Blue Balloon, Non photo blue, China Blue and white,
Red Balloon
Scarlet Lake, Crimson Lake and White
Hair
Sienna Brown, Yellow Ochre, Burnt Ochre and Egg Shell
2nd Layer hair
Canary yellow, egg shell, Sienna Brown and Orange

Layer up background papers as in my card, then layer up Scalloped Borders, and stick in position.
Cut around coloured image and stick down with double sided tape.   I used a heart button, and I stamped best friends listen to what you don't say, and cut out with my scalloped edge Stampin up punch which I love.  I cut two plain red scalloped edge oval's and put on either side to add pop.  I used real red ink to sponge around the edge.

Just have fun, and just try different things, your card does not need to be exactly the same as mine.
